Informal shorthand for the GoldBird Network. The canonical customer-facing full form is "GoldBird Network" (per castle-owner direction 2026-05-14, chat tab s1.n28[3] — defensive naming: "GoldNet" alone is too generic, may be claimed by other entities; "GoldBird Network" is unambiguous). GoldBird Network = GoldBird Inc.'s cooperative network of GoldByres (each owned by a member, organization, NLC, or AI-agent) interoperating on byrenet standards via ssv://. GoldBird Inc. operates the network administratively (the Visa Inc. role); the GoldByres in the network are owner-sovereign (the cardholder, bank, processor, and merchant roles in the Visa-network analogy). The Gold____ branded counterpart of generic byrenet. Other competing platforms will operate their own byrenets on the same boundedly-open byrenet standards.
